Dance Spots for your weekend in Miami

Alright, you have two left feet we get it but who said you need to be a Dancing with the Stars expert to go out and get not the dance floor. And let's get real if you can’t find a spot to dance any kind of music in South Florida… then where can you find it? Here are some spots you can get your dirty dancing (you choose which version) on.

Let’s say you’re feeling a little wild and decide to start your weekend on a Wednesday

Round-Up

Yes, that place that makes you drive 45 north into real United States, to listen to "la musica Americana esa”. This Square dancing capital of South Florida has a ladies night on Wednesdays. Not only do you ladies get to be saucy for free with your gorls, but there is also a free dance class at 8 PM. I don’t know about you but any place that offers free drinks, a dance class and a $5 Tequeño appetizer special has my heart. Besides, what better way to start your week than with a Vodka in your left, a Tequeño in your right and the sweet sound of Luke Bryan angelic voice singing to anything while you dance the night away?

Ball and Chain

If you didn’t already know (crawl out from under that rock) Ball and Chain is THE spot for salsa in Miami. No matter what night or day you decide to show up, count on salsa being played at some point. And if salsa is the only thing way you want to spend your night, Thursday nights are the nights for you. Picture this (insert Sofia) you arrive, the live music is playing and the sweet smell of mojito hits you and leads you to the bar, as you sip on your they call for salsa lesson! You learn the basic 1-2-3 and boom you're dancing salsa. Now suddenly you feel like a true cultured citizen and somehow end up itching for more.

The Wharf

It's Friday and you can Either grab that group of co-workers that are all on the same level of “done” as you are or call up your friends for a happy “hour” right after work. Head straight to The Warf right on the river for their happy hour from 4-7. Enjoy food trucks and drink specials as the place fills up and everyone begins to grab that delicious buzz. Buzz of excitement that the weekend is starting, of course. The Wharf is a great place to go dressed as you please, the DJ blasts music throughout the place and it’s always a great mix of oldies with all the new releases. But don't get there too late, you’ll probably feel like you got to the party late and everyone will be on a whole other level.

Wynwood Factory

This hidden warehouse exterior is definitely not what you expect. Once you’ve decided whether you’re making the eternal line, going VIP or suddenly know someone’s cousin’s cousin is a promoter, you’re eventually in. The Factory is composed of 4 rooms North South East West (Very original). Often times you can find a different party going on in several rooms at the same time. This definitely spots the o go out with a great group of friends and splurge on that VIP area so you can shake that ass on the couches. Apparently, that’s a thing now so… I’d say jump right in a try it out. The factory is being treated as an event space and has rotating events every weekend. You can find their schedule on their website under the EVENTS tab.

Copper Blues

Did anyone say Brunch?! This not so hidden gem is Sunday essential if you're looking to dance and brunch simultaneously. Head over to Copper Blues and make sure you're ready to shake your a**. Not only are $20 bottomless mimosas a thing here but they also have an incredible menu and a great DJ playing all of the bad bunny songs you don't want to admit you know until you are yelling out all of the lyrics. And that’s.. not … all, every hour on the hour you’re blessed with beautiful women standing on the bar ready to pour free shots down your throat… yes FREE.
