Latest Audio Tech

Powerbeats, AirPods, headphones, echo, echo dot, home pod, google home, home mini.... I can't keep up, I mean what is with all the new names and nicknames we have for these things.
When did earphones and speakers get so complex?
Fortunately, they're getting easier to use and understand, yet it's still hard to keep up with the latest tech and what they're really used for.
Heres a breakdown of some of the latest releases and where you can find them.

Powerbeats Pro
Beats by Dre has released a version of the more recognizable wireless earphones, Power Beats. Beats by Dre designers have ditched the wire connecting each earbud, making these seem like a sport version of the AirPods. Black is the only color currently available for purchase at $249.95+tax and shipping. More colors including Ivory, Moss, and Navy will be available this summer. The Powerbeats give you an impressive 9 hours of listening time and are sweat and water resistant.

Bose Frames: Audio Sunglasses
Ok, so deja vu? We’ve seen this before, with the 2004 release of Oakleys Thump… the ones that looked like you came straight out of a matrix film or something. Well luckily times have changes and Bose has released the Bose Frames in two different styles the Alto and Rondo. Coming in at $199.95 these frames are not only stylish but pretty amazing on the tech side. The audio is transmitted through the small speaker on the leg of the frames, oddly enough it reminded me of the Sound bites Lollipops in the 90s. By connecting it to your mobile device you can access your virtual assistant and use other features by clicking on the button located on the inside of the legs. Overall very impressive.

Apple AirPods:
In typical Apple fashion, the design of their products pretty much stays the same, and this goes for the new Apple AirPods 3. So what's the big difference…? Not to bore you with the technical terms but the internal processor has made a jump from the W1 to the H1 and essentially this just allows you to pair 1.5 times faster. There is also an option to purchase a wireless charging case for $79.00. But other than that, they're basically the same and look identical to the first generation AirPods your favorite real estate bro won’t take off.

Soundots Ai-1
This is a modular speaker with a close resemblance to the Bose Soundlink mini. This speaker has a battery life fo 8 hours and is recommended for indoor use, no it does not take a dip in your pool lightly. The Ai - 1 can be paired and stacked with more of its kind to create a rich and louder sound wall. It is quite expensive coming in at $249, but you can tell this is more of a statement piece than just any ordinary practical speaker.

Sony XB10 Portable Speaker
This portable speaker is perfect for those who travel. Its newest model has a battery life and is water resistant. It is great to throw in your carry on for some hotel beats and when you're ready to hit the beach or that hiking trip you’ve been looking forward to, just clip it on to your bag and keep the music going. at only $59.99 it is defiantly worth every penny, delivering strong bass and crisp sounds.
